Hello, Hello!
My name is Leslie Carter! I am from Little Rock, Arkansas born & raised. As crazy as this sounds, I am actually a quadruplet! I have two sisters & one brother and we are all 25 years old. I know it’s pretty crazy, but it’s just my everyday normal. I have the sweetest & best dog ever. I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Jessie. She’s never met a stranger and will attack you with kisses.
Education:
I graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 2014. I then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for two years. I transferred to University of Arkansas at Pulaski Tech where I finished and earned my degree in Hospitality Management.
Fun Fact:
While I was at the U of A in Fayetteville, I was Pork Chop the Arkansas Razorback Mascot! Truly an unforgettable & THE most exciting experience of my life. I attended pretty much every sporting event as well as volunteer & university events. I was super hot & sweaty, but it was all totally worth it.
Favorite parts of being Pork Chop:
-Riding Tusk Bus at the beginning of every home football game
-Crowd Surfing (scary but truly unforgettable)
-Interacting & messing with fans
-My mascot & spirit squad family
My Hobbies:
I love to be outdoors in the Natural State of Arkansas (when it’s not insanely hot). I also love sports; whether it’s playing them or watching them. My favorites are football, golf, gymnastics, and baseball. I’m super competitive, so I also love to play (I mean win) board & cards games. I also love to read and watch movies & TV shows. My guilty pleasure: The Bachelor & Bachelorette.
My Path to BBSE:
I reached out to Katherine during the summer of 2018. I was itching to gain experience & learn more about the wedding and event industry. I then started on as an event assistant in November 2018. In September 2019, I transitioned into a more permanent & involved role with BBSE. I am an event and project coordinator for BBSE or aka “Katherine’s Mini-Me.” I’ve loved every minute of working with Katherine & the BBSE team! We have created some beautiful magic & I can’t wait to see what’s yet to come.
My Favorite Part of a Wedding:
Definitely when the bride walks down the aisle. We’ve been working & planning for this day, this moment, and it’s finally here. This is why we’re here; our beautiful couple is finally getting married. Our Elle Woods “We did it” moment!
